How do I extract audio from a video?

Tap “Extract” on the home screen, select a video from your library, choose your desired output format, and tap Export. The audio will be saved to your device.

What audio formats are supported?

Clipex supports MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and M4R (ringtone) output formats. Free users can export in MP3 and M4A formats at Low/Medium quality. Premium users have access to all formats including lossless WAV.

How does audio reversal work?

Select an audio file or extract audio from a video, then tap the Reverse button. Clipex processes the file on your device and creates a reversed copy.

What are the free tier limitations?

The free version includes:

  • Up to 3 premium actions per day
  • Low/Medium quality (128-192 kbps)
  • MP3 and M4A formats
  • Core editing features (trim, reverse, speed, volume, fade)

What does Premium include?

Clipex Premium unlocks:

  • Unlimited exports
  • All effects (Slowed+Reverb, Nightcore, Chipmunk, pitch shifting, reverb, echo, bass boost)

How do I manage my subscription?

Go to your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions to manage or cancel your Clipex subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device. You’ll continue to have Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

Does Clipex work offline?

Yes! All audio processing happens on your device. No internet connection required for core features.

Is my data private?

Yes. All audio and video processing happens entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded to any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
