Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ClipKit (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
These Terms apply to the iOS version of ClipKit made available through Apple’s App Store by Marian Yakubets.
Description of Service
ClipKit is a local media conversion and compression app. The app provides tools to:
- Compress videos
- Convert video and audio formats
- Extract audio from video
- Convert video to audio formats such as MP3 or M4A
- Trim, crop, rotate, adjust speed, and change resolution or frame rate
- Save or share exported media files
- Import media through Files, Photos, or supported share flows
ClipKit processes media locally on your device. We do not operate a cloud storage or hosted media-processing service for your files.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use ClipKit. You agree that you will:
- Use the app only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Use only media and content that you own or are authorized to process
- Review exported files before sharing, publishing, or distributing them
- Keep your device, Apple ID, and purchase credentials secure
- Not interfere with the app, its services, or any entitlement checks
- Not attempt to access paid features or entitlements you have not purchased
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works of the app except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
User Content
You retain all rights to the videos, audio files, and other media you process with ClipKit. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to convert, edit, export, and share any content you use with the app.
ClipKit Pro and Payments
ClipKit may offer free features and paid features under ClipKit Pro. Paid features may include unlimited exports, advanced tools, additional export options, higher-quality output, or other Pro capabilities shown in the app.
Purchases
- Payments are processed through the Apple App Store
- ClipKit Pro is a one-time unlock, not a subscription
- Prices and available products may vary by region
- Purchase availability and billing are managed by Apple
- RevenueCat may be used to validate purchases and manage entitlement status
Privacy
Your use of ClipKit is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how the app handles local media files, selected Photos and Files access, analytics, purchases, and feedback. Please review the Privacy Policy at /clipkit/privacy-policy/.
App Store Terms
Your use of ClipKit through Apple’s App Store is also subject to Apple’s App Store terms, Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and any applicable Apple policies.
Intellectual Property
ClipKit, including its design, interface, graphics, code, and related materials, is owned by Marian Yakubets and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
ClipKit is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free media processing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marian Yakubets and ClipKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the app
- Any conversion, compression, export, or editing result
- Any loss of media files or local app data
- Any unauthorized access to your device or Apple ID
- Purchase, billing, or refund issues handled by Apple or RevenueCat
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the app where permitted by law if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app will cease.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles.
