Common Questions
Does Willowglow require an account?
No. Willowglow works without sign-up or a profile.
Why are no stories visible?
Willowglow loads its catalogue from a content service. Check the internet connection and try again. If the service is temporarily unavailable, the latest successfully loaded catalogue may remain available on the device.
Can stories play offline?
Yes. Open Settings → Downloads to manage downloaded story audio. Previously played media may also remain cached. A story that has not been downloaded or cached needs an internet connection for its first load.
How do I change the language?
Open Settings → Language and choose English or Ukrainian. Willowglow reloads available content for that language.
How do subscriptions work?
Willowglow may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewing plans. The purchase screen shows the current localized price, billing period, and any eligible trial before confirmation. Manage or cancel an active subscription in the applicable App Store or Google Play settings.
Are TestFlight purchases real?
No. TestFlight identifies purchases as sandbox transactions and does not create real charges. App Store releases use real purchases after confirmation in Apple’s system purchase sheet.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings → Current plan → Restore purchases while signed into the store account used for purchase.
Will purchases work across iOS and Android?
Purchases are restored within the store platform where they were made. Because Willowglow has no account, automatic cross-platform entitlement sharing is not currently available.
How do new-story alerts work?
A parent can enable them in Settings when the push service is available. Willowglow registers a notification token, platform, and selected language only for delivering those alerts. Disabling alerts or resetting app data requests deletion of that server registration; if the device is offline, deletion completes after the notification provider rejects the stale token.
How do I remove Willowglow data?
Use Settings → Help & legal → Reset app data to remove local playlists, progress, preferences, and downloads. This also disables notifications and requests deletion of the stored push registration. Willowglow has no user account to delete.
Does Willowglow collect analytics or show ads?
No. Willowglow has no product-behavior analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking SDKs. RevenueCat processes limited purchase and entitlement information. Apple or Google processes store purchases and optional push delivery, including operational data needed for those services. See the Privacy Policy for details.
